Independently scored, one dimension at a time. Every dimension is sourced, and we say whether a claim is published, reported, or estimated.

The lowest-scoring dimension is the weak point. Read that one first.
AI / agent readiness
83
+

A hosted first-party MCP server was announced on 18 June 2026 and has its own feature page; mcp.agicap.com returned OAuth metadata with mcp:read and mcp:write scopes on 30 September 2026. Admins set read-only or read-and-write access, and the vendor lists reads of cash, AR, AP, KPIs and debt plus writes for transactions, scenarios, forecasts and categorization rules. The tool list and endpoint URL are not on public pages, and the in-product AI outcome figures are vendor-claimed.

Modeling depth
80
+

Agicap's cash management page lists daily, 13-week, quarterly and annual planning, scenario modeling and budget versus actual variance by entity. The planning page adds a P&L-to-cash converter, debt schedules with interest and hedging instruments, and the Luminous case study pairs a 13-week direct forecast with 12 to 15 month indirect planning. It is a cash tool; full three-statement or driver-based FP&A models sit outside it.

ERP & data connectivity
79
+

The pricing FAQ claims 300+ compatible banks, and the connectivity page lists SWIFT, host-to-host, API and SFTP links with NACHA and ISO 20022 payment files; the payments page adds EBICS TS and BACS. NetSuite (OneWorld), QuickBooks and Xero pages document two-way flows, and Sage Intacct, Business Central, SAP S/4HANA and Acumatica appear on the integrations page. Aggregator bank data refreshes every 24 hours per the security page, and no Salesforce or Snowflake connector is listed.

Implementation
77
+

Agicap's NetSuite and QuickBooks pages say a connector takes a few hours with its onboarding team, and onboarding is included in the subscription. Guidefacturation.com (June 2026) reports 3 to 6 weeks to an operational rollout, longer when EBICS bank links are complex. No partner or certified model builder is needed, though bank-side SWIFT or host-to-host setup can add weeks.

Scalability
71
+

The consolidation page supports group and entity views, and the cash management page adds intercompany flows and automated cash pooling. US case studies run 11 hotels (Luminous) and 16 facilities with 25+ bank accounts (Comfort Care). TechCrunch (November 2024) reported a target range of companies up to 500 million euros in revenue. No published limits exist for entities, accounts or transaction volumes, and very large global treasuries are outside its stated focus.

Support
68
+

The support page says onboarding, training and live chat are included in the subscription at no extra cost, and Capterra UK rates customer support 4.5 out of 5 across 161 reviews (reported, checked 30 September 2026). The US terms (in force 1 May 2026) list human live chat Monday to Friday, 9am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 5pm CET unless the order says otherwise. That default window closes at 11am Eastern time.

Compliance depth
63
+

Agicap's security page (checked 30 September 2026) states ISO 27001:2022 certification since 2024, AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2 in transit and Google Cloud hosting in Belgium only. The payments page documents single or dual approval workflows, secured beneficiary management, 2FA and an exportable audit trail. The trust center lists the SOC 2 Type 2 report as in progress and shows no SOC 1 report, which some US auditors ask for.

Pricing transparency
46
+

The US pricing page is a quote form; the FAQ states only a 12-month minimum. Vendr's public page shows a median of $16,978 a year from 6 purchases (checked 30 September 2026), a thin sample. The published US terms do disclose an upfront annual fee, automatic renewal and a renewal increase of up to 5 percent a year.

The verdict

Broad cash platform with a live read-and-write MCP, held back by quote-only terms and pending SOC 2

Written by the Audit Friendly research team. No vendor edits, no sponsored placement.

You are buying a cash operations layer between your banks and your ERP. Agicap pulls balances and transactions from 300+ banks, imports open AR and AP, and turns them into daily, 13-week and 12 to 15 month forecasts with scenarios and plan versus actual variance. It also runs payments with single or dual approval, collections, bank reconciliation and journal entries back to NetSuite, QuickBooks Online or Xero. Since June 2026 a hosted MCP server lets Claude query and update treasury data under each user's Agicap permissions.

The catch is commercial and compliance fit for US buyers. Pricing is quote only, and the one public benchmark is a Vendr median of about $17k a year from just 6 purchases. The US terms in force since 1 May 2026 bill the annual fee upfront, renew automatically and let Agicap raise the fee up to 5 percent a year at renewal. The trust center still lists SOC 2 Type 2 as in progress, data is hosted in Belgium, and the default support clause gives live chat hours in Central European Time. Aggregator bank feeds refresh every 24 hours, so intraday views depend on SWIFT or host-to-host links.

Before signing, get in writing: the modules and entity count behind the quote, removal or a lower cap on the 5 percent renewal clause, US support hours and a named contact, the expected date of the SOC 2 Type 2 report, which of your banks connect by API, SWIFT or host-to-host rather than a daily aggregator, whether MCP write access is included in your plan, and how you export data before the termination date.

Best for
  • A mid-market group with 5 to 20 entities and several banks that still rebuilds its 13-week cash forecast in Excel every Monday.
  • A NetSuite OneWorld shop that wants bank statements, reconciled journal entries and signed payment files flowing between bank and ERP.
  • A PE-backed CFO who needs a board-ready cash position, debt schedules and net debt reporting without buying a full treasury management system.
Not for
  • A US buyer whose security review requires a SOC 2 Type 2 report today, or data hosted in the United States.
  • A small business on Xero or QuickBooks that only needs a forecast; Float publishes prices from $105 a month and sets up in minutes.
  • A global treasury running in-house banking, complex derivatives and hundreds of bank accounts across regions; an enterprise TMS such as Kyriba fits better.
What it solves for finance

The jobs a finance team actually hires Agicap for

Jobs, mapped to how finance teams actually buy.

Forecasting

Replace the Monday 13-week cash spreadsheet

Agicap combines bank feeds with open AR and AP and recurring flows like payroll, rent and debt to build daily to 13-week forecasts. The forecast re-baselines on actual bank movements, and variance against plan shows by entity and category.

Consolidation

See group cash across entities and banks

Comfort Care Senior Living connected 25+ bank accounts across 16 facilities to get one consolidated position, per Agicap's case study. Users switch between group and entity views and run balancing transfers or cash pooling from the platform.

Payments

Approve and send payments without bank portals

Payment runs go out via host-to-host ACH and wire, SWIFT, EBICS or BACS, with NACHA and ISO 20022 files. Single or dual approval, 2FA on mobile and an exportable audit trail cover each run, per the payments page.

Reconciliation

Cut bank reconciliation and journal work

AI matching suggests links between bank lines and open invoices, and reconciled entries post back to NetSuite, QuickBooks Online or Xero. Luminous Hotel Management says reconciliation across 11 hotels dropped to about 2 hours a week; that figure is vendor-published.

AI

Ask Claude about cash and build scenarios

Through the MCP server, a controller can ask Claude for cash by entity and currency or a variance explanation, then have it build a what-if scenario. Writes need human confirmation, and an admin can keep the whole organization read-only.

Agicap says each ERP connector takes a few hours with its onboarding team, and onboarding is included in the subscription. Things to watch for
01
Contract
Upfront annual fee with a 5 percent renewal clause

Agicap's US General Terms of Service (version in force 1 May 2026) make the annual Service Fee due in full upfront in US dollars at the start of each term. Renewal is automatic unless notice arrives 30 days before the end of a 12-month order (60 or 90 days for longer orders). Agicap may raise the fee by up to 5 percent of the prior year at renewal, compounding for years with no increase. Negotiate the cap and notice period into the order form.

01
Support
Default live support hours are European

The US terms (1 May 2026) describe human live chat Monday to Friday, 9am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 5pm CET, plus a 24/7 chatbot, unless the order says otherwise. That window is roughly 3am to 11am Eastern. Agicap opened its first US office in Austin in September 2025 (reported), so ask for US support hours and a named contact in writing.

01
Compliance
SOC 2 Type 2 is not done yet

trust.agicap.com (checked 30 September 2026) shows ISO 27001:2022 and a pentest certificate, with the SOC 2 Type 2 report marked in progress. The security page says all data is hosted in Google Cloud data centers in Belgium. US buyers whose vendor reviews require a SOC 2 report or US data residency should get a delivery date before signing.

01
Integration
Aggregator bank feeds update once a day

Agicap's security page says it automatically collects banking information every 24 hours through regulated aggregators. Intraday balances need SWIFT, host-to-host or bank API links, which take bank paperwork and more setup time. Map each of your banks to its connection method during the sales process.

01
Migration
Download your data before the contract ends

Under the US terms, the client must download all client data by the termination date, when the account is deactivated. Agicap may delete client data after a period of at least 30 days. Schedule exports of transactions, forecasts and reports well before the renewal notice deadline.

01
Pricing
The price benchmark is thin

The pricing page is a quote form, and Vendr's public page (checked 30 September 2026) shows a $16,978 median across 6 purchases in a narrow band. A French review site reports 150 to 799 euros a month depending on modules. Ask for a module-by-module quote for your entity and bank count, and get a competing quote from a peer.

/ 5
Agent readiness

Scored on what an outside agent can actually reach: the documented API, how it authenticates, and whether the vendor ships an MCP server.

Hosted first-party MCP with admin-set read-only or read-and-write access to cash, AR, AP and forecasts; live endpoint confirmed 30 Sep 2026.
Float
Trovata

Exists: Yes. Agicap announced its MCP server on 18 June 2026 and describes it on a dedicated feature page. The endpoint at mcp.agicap.com answered with OAuth protected-resource metadata listing mcp:read and mcp:write scopes on 30 September 2026. It is not in Claude's connector directory, and neither the endpoint URL nor a tool list is published on public pages.

Scope: Read and write. The vendor lists reads of cash positions by entity and currency, overdue invoices, KPIs, debt maturities and variance analysis, and writes such as importing historical or expected transactions, building and filling what-if scenarios, setting forecasts and editing categorization rules. Access inherits each user's Agicap permissions by role and entity. The vendor says the connector never moves money or changes a record on its own, and a human confirms every write.

Turnkey: Mostly. The vendor says setup means adding the connection in the AI assistant's settings and signing in with Agicap credentials, with no API keys or IT ticket. An organization admin decides between read-only and read-and-write. The authorization server advertises OAuth dynamic client registration (checked 30 September 2026), which should let Claude add it as a custom connector; Audit Friendly did not complete a sign-in to test this.

In-product AI: the Agicap AI Assistant (launched September 2024) answers plain-language questions on transactions, forecasts, AR, AP and debt inside the platform. The vendor claims AI categorization and reconciliation that automate 95 percent of bank journal entries and collections tools that cut DSO by 20 to 40 percent; no independent account confirms those figures.

Claude can
With the MCP connected, Claude can pull cash by entity and currency, list overdue invoices, explain forecast versus actual gaps, and, with write access on, import a CSV of transactions or build a what-if scenario for a human to confirm.
Claude can't
Claude cannot see entities the signed-in user cannot see, and the vendor says it never moves money on its own. Without the MCP, agents get less: the public REST API catalog has no forecast or cash-position endpoint.

Questions buyers ask

Agicap FAQ

What does Agicap cost for a mid-market finance team?
−

Agicap is quote only, with an annual subscription and a 12-month minimum stated on its pricing page. The only public benchmark is Vendr's median of $16,978 a year across 6 purchases (checked 30 September 2026), which is a small sample.

A French review site reports 150 to 799 euros a month depending on modules, with forecasting-only single-entity plans near 200 euros a month (reported, June 2026). Adding payments, collections or multi-entity consolidation raises the number, so ask for a quote broken out by module and entity.

What are the contract terms, and how does data come out at the end?
+

The US terms in force since 1 May 2026 bill the annual fee upfront, renew automatically with 30 days notice on a 12-month order, and allow a renewal increase of up to 5 percent a year. Liability is capped at 12 months of fees.

On termination you must download your data by the termination date, when the account is deactivated, and Agicap may delete it after at least 30 days. Exports to Excel and PDF exist in the product, and the public API can export bank journal entries and documents.

How long does implementation take, and who does it?
+

Agicap's own onboarding team runs it; no partner is needed. The vendor says an ERP connector such as NetSuite or QuickBooks takes a few hours, and a French review site reports 3 to 6 weeks to an operational rollout (reported, June 2026).

Bank connections are the long pole. Aggregator links are quick, but SWIFT, EBICS or host-to-host links need bank paperwork and can add weeks. Plan time for a controller to set categories and forecast rules.

Can Claude or another AI agent operate Agicap?
+

Yes. Agicap runs a hosted first-party MCP server, announced 18 June 2026, that works with Claude and ChatGPT. Users sign in with Agicap credentials, and an admin sets the organization to read-only or read-and-write.

Claude can read cash positions, AR, AP, KPIs, debt and variances, and with write access it can import transactions, build scenarios, set forecasts and edit categorization rules. The vendor says a human confirms every write and the connector never moves money on its own. The tool list is not public and the free trial lasts 24 hours, so ask Agicap for a guided MCP test on your own data before signing.

Ready to get a real number?
Ask Agicap for a quote broken out by module, entity count and bank connection method, with the renewal cap and US support hours written into the order form. Bring the Vendr median of about $17k a year, which rests on only 6 purchases, and a Float or Trovata quote to the call.
