Tesorio is AR automation that sits on top of the ERP: collections worklists and an email agent, cash application, a customer payment portal, Coupa and Ariba invoice submission and AR forecasting, sold by quote to mid-market and enterprise finance teams, mostly in software and tech.
Independently scored, one dimension at a time. Every dimension is sourced, and we say whether a claim is published, reported, or estimated.
Release notes show shipped AI: a Collections Agent that drafts replies and, under natural-language rules, sends them (13 August 2026), cash application matching with an auto-posting switch (25 February 2026), and a Supplier Portals Agent for Coupa and SAP Ariba. A hosted MCP server at mcp.tesorio.com uses OAuth 2.1 with mcp:read and mcp:write scopes and has a public setup guide. It was announced as beta on 14 April 2026 and Tesorio publishes no REST API documentation, which keeps the score below 90.
The onboarding help doc says most customers finish in 2 to 4 weeks: connect the ERP, load open invoices, then backfill 24 months of history while a customer success manager configures campaigns and workspaces. The NetSuite path is a bundle install plus an access token. Timelines stretch for flat-file ERPs, for bank SFTP setup (the doc says a bank may take a few weeks), and for sandbox, single sign-on or IP whitelisting requests.
The trust center (checked 11 October 2026) lists SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 reports for 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2026, examined by A-LIGN, plus annual penetration tests, SAML single sign-on, role-based access and user activity logs. The invoice Timeline released on 31 March 2026 records who or which AI agent acted, with the agent's reasoning. Gaps: no ISO 27001 is listed, the PCI DSS badge carries no stated level, hosting is AWS with no published data residency choice, and the recovery time objective is 24 hours.
The public terms (v2.3) and the help center commit to support from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday, with a response within 24 hours for requests received Monday to Thursday. Channels are in-app chat, email and scheduled video calls, plus a named customer success manager; the SLA (v2.2, 17 October 2022) promises 99.5 percent monthly availability with service credits. There is no published 24x7 coverage, phone line or paid premium tier. Tesorio cites a G2 quality of support score of 9.6 out of 10 (vendor-relayed, Summer 2026).
Help docs cover multi-subsidiary and multi-currency setups, parent and child customer hierarchies and per-payment routing across NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Zuora (31 March 2026 release). A Smartsheet quote on the vendor site cites a portfolio above $100M with more than 10,000 open invoices a month. Tesorio publishes no volume, user or rate limits, the NetSuite doc describes daily batch pulls, and the 13 August 2026 release notes fixed a query timeout in high-volume inboxes.
The integrations overview (updated 4 May 2026) lists API connectors for NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Workday and Zuora, plus Salesforce, Stripe, Slack, Gmail and Outlook. Separate help docs cover a Stripe Billing connector (4 February 2026) and bank feeds through Plaid or SFTP in BAI2, CAMT.053 and lockbox formats (29 July 2025). Release notes show cash application posting payments back to NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Zuora. Everything else uses Tesorio Connect: one CSV per object over SFTP at least daily, with posted payments exported as a file for import into the ERP.
Covered in depth per the product pages: collections and dunning, cash application, a customer payment portal with ACH, card and wire, payment plans, supplier portal submission and AR forecasting. Covered lightly: disputes (a portal flag routed to a workflow), deductions, and credit risk, which is limited to machine-learning risk scores built from payment history. Missing: credit applications and bureau-based credit decisions, billing and invoicing, e-invoicing mandates and revenue recognition. Tesorio's own guide (30 August 2026) sends deduction-heavy and payment-led buyers elsewhere.
There is no pricing page: tesorio.com/pricing redirects to the home page and product pages say to request a demo (checked 11 October 2026). The only public number is Vendr's median of $17,644 a year across 60 purchases (reported), and that page is inconsistent on deal count. Tesorio Pay rates are negotiated per customer, and Workflows plan quotas and prices are unpublished.

Tesorio is a collections and cash application workspace that reads from the ERP and writes payments, notes and contacts back. The core is a ranked worklist, dunning campaigns, a shared inbox with an email agent, and a cash application module that matches bank files, lockbox images and remittance emails to open invoices. Around that sit a customer payment portal, an agent that submits invoices to Coupa and SAP Ariba, an AR forecast and a no-code workflow builder. A hosted MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor query the same data and trigger a limited set of actions (checked 11 October 2026).
Pricing is quote only and the one public benchmark is small: Vendr shows a median of $17,644 a year across 60 purchases (reported, checked 11 October 2026). API connectors cover NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Workday, Zuora and Stripe Billing. Every other ERP, including SAP, Oracle and Dynamics 365, connects through daily CSV files over SFTP, and cash posted in Tesorio then has to be imported into that ERP as a file. Tesorio's own alternatives guide (30 August 2026) says teams whose main problem is deductions and claims, or payment acceptance, should buy something else. The product list has no credit application or credit limit module. Tesorio markets credit risk monitoring, which its pages describe as machine-learning risk scores built from payment history, and its own guide says teams seeking credit bureau integration may not fit (checked 11 October 2026).
Before signing, get every module and its price on the Order Form, including the Workflows plan quota, Tesorio Pay rates and any sandbox or single sign-on charge. Confirm the sync cadence for each ERP object, since the NetSuite help doc describes daily batch pulls. Ask whether AI Chat and the MCP server are generally available for the account or still in beta. The public terms renew automatically for one year unless written notice arrives at least 30 days before the term ends, so put the notice date on the calendar and negotiate a renewal cap.
Jobs, mapped to how finance teams actually buy.
Tesorio scores open invoices on payment history, aging and behavior, then gives each collector a prioritized worklist and runs dunning campaigns by segment. A Veeva Systems AR manager is quoted on the vendor site saying 90-day aged receivables fell by 50 percent. The figure comes from a vendor-published case study.
The Collections Agent classifies inbound email, drafts replies, extracts promise-to-pay dates and links threads to customers and invoices. Since the 13 August 2026 release an admin can write plain-language rules for which replies go out automatically and which wait as drafts. Auto-resolved threads have their own filter for audit.
Payments arrive through Plaid or bank SFTP in BAI2, CAMT.053, CSV and lockbox formats and are matched to open invoices, with exceptions queued alongside suggested matches. An auto-posting setting (25 February 2026) posts matches above a confidence threshold. Tesorio claims 95 percent or more; the Verkada quote on its site says above 90 percent.
The Supplier Portals Agent matches invoices to purchase orders, runs pre-submission checks, submits the invoice and reads status emails to update promise-to-pay dates. It flags invoices missing a PO number and, since 20 May 2026, will not auto-submit invoices older than 60 days. Portal credentials are stored with Tesorio.
Customers view invoices, pay one or many, set up AutoPay, request payment plans and flag disputes. Portal payments that fully match sync to the ERP as soon as they reach pending status (13 August 2026 release). Tesorio Pay added UK and EUR merchant accounts and SEPA direct debit on 20 May 2026.
The hosted MCP server lets an assistant pull aging, invoice and payment detail and add notes under the user's own Tesorio permissions. The vendor names two customers using it through Claude: Fin pulls a filtered account list each morning and posts Slack messages to account executives, and Sitetracker posts account context to Slack when a flagged invoice is paid. Tesorio introduced the server as beta on 14 April 2026.

Here's what it really costs: published rates where a vendor lists them, aggregated quote data where they don't, plus a path to your own number.
Annual subscription for the modules named on the Order Form. Vendr reports a median of $17,644 a year across 60 purchases (checked 11 October 2026).
Card and bank payment processing for the payment portal. The seller pays the agreed rate; card network fees above it pass through at cost and come out of payouts.
Plan names and a quota appear in the 20 May 2026 release notes. Prices and quota sizes are not public.
Vendr's buyer guide text says implementation fees can range from $10,000 to $50,000 or more depending on complexity, and that some buyers get them reduced or waived. The range is editorial and is not tied to Vendr's purchase data. Tesorio does not publish a fee (checked 11 October 2026).
The onboarding doc (4 November 2024) lists these as additional services outside standard onboarding that may extend the timeline. It does not say whether they carry a fee, so ask.
Applies to unpaid Tesorio invoices under the public terms (v2.3), or the legal maximum if lower.
Tesorio has no pricing page; the pricing URL redirects to the home page (checked 11 October 2026). Vendr's marketplace page reports a median of $17,644 a year from 60 purchases and charts a range it labels Low $7,500 to High $43,591, without saying whether those are percentiles. The same page shows 37 deals handled in its header. Modules are named individually on the Order Form under the public terms, and Workflows has Basic, Pro and Advanced plans with a quota (20 May 2026 release notes). Ask for each module, plan and quota as a separate line.
The public agreement (v2.3, updated 24 May 2023) sets a one-year default term that renews for further one-year periods unless either side gives written notice at least 30 days before expiry. Fees are noncancelable and nonrefundable, and late balances carry a 1.5 percent monthly finance charge. Tesorio can change the agreement, with changes taking effect at the next renewal. The public terms say nothing about a cap on renewal increases, so negotiate one.
Tesorio Connect requires an automated CSV export per object and an SFTP transfer at least once a day, with column names that match its templates (integration guide, updated 5 September 2024). Files are picked up hourly, and an invoice that lands in an earlier batch than its customer record errors out and is not reprocessed automatically (the 22 September 2026 release now orders files within a batch). For cash application, the flat-file setup doc (15 June 2025) says the payment file cannot be configured to load into the ERP automatically. Plan for IT time on both directions.
The integrations page says data syncs in real time through APIs and webhooks. The NetSuite data integration doc (updated 21 June 2026) describes each integration point as either a Daily Batch Pull from NetSuite or a Real-time Data Push to NetSuite, with customers, invoices and payments on one-way sync and notes, messages and contacts pushed in real time. The same doc says Tesorio connects to a single NetSuite instance and does not support custom invoice PDFs generated by a Suitelet. Ask for the scheduled sync frequency in writing.
Tesorio's alternatives guide (30 August 2026) lists five buyer situations where it is the wrong choice, including businesses centered on deductions and claims and teams whose bottleneck is payment acceptance. The product list on its site (checked 11 October 2026) has no credit application or credit scoring module. Disputes are handled as a portal flag routed to a workflow. A distributor with retailer chargebacks should shortlist a deductions engine first.
The Tesorio Pay help docs describe a blended processing rate agreed per customer. When card network fees exceed what the blended rate covers, the difference is passed through at cost and deducted from the next available payout, with no invoice (network fees article, 22 January 2026). Tesorio Pay must be enabled by the customer success manager, and onboarding includes identity checks on owners with 25 percent or more. Get the blended rate, the per-transaction fee and the reconciliation report format in writing.
Scored on what an outside agent can actually reach: the documented API, how it authenticates, and whether the vendor ships an MCP server.
Exists: Yes. Tesorio runs a hosted MCP server at https://mcp.tesorio.com/v1/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE). The help center has a setup guide for Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT, and Tesorio says the connector is listed in the Claude Connectors Directory. The published discovery endpoints answered on 11 October 2026. The 14 April 2026 release notes introduced the server as beta, with access through the customer success manager; current pages carry no beta label, and no general availability notice appears on the Tesorio site (checked 11 October 2026).
Scope: The server advertises 2 scopes, mcp:read and mcp:write. Documented reads cover customers, invoices, payments, aging, dunning campaign results, unmatched payments and supplier portal submissions, limited to what the signed-in user can already see. Documented writes are narrow: adding a note is the example Tesorio gives, and the product page describes follow-up, task and custom actions that an admin builds in the Workflows engine. Tesorio does not publish the full tool list. AI Chat, the in-product assistant, is read-only.
Turnkey: Mostly. A user signs in with existing Tesorio credentials through OAuth and no API key is issued. An admin chooses which data AI Chat and MCP can use in the Tools settings, and a custom action exists only after someone builds a workflow and exposes it. Tesorio's llms.txt states that public REST API documentation is not currently published, so the MCP server is the only documented programmatic surface.
In-product AI: The Collections Agent classifies inbound AR email, drafts replies, extracts promise-to-pay dates and, since 13 August 2026, can send replies on its own under natural-language rules. The Cash Application Agent matches payments to invoices and can auto-post above a confidence threshold. The Supplier Portals Agent submits invoices to Coupa and SAP Ariba and skips invoices older than 60 days. Auto-match rates of 90 to 95 percent and a 33 day DSO reduction are vendor-claimed. Anthropic and OpenAI are listed subprocessors.
The 22 September 2026 release lets the agent assign email threads to users or teams and add notes to customers, invoices and threads when a policy allows it. Inbox search now covers full email bodies from January 2026 onward.
Tesorio says its SuiteApp completed NetSuite Next Ready validation on 18 August 2026, alongside the AI Application badge it already held.
Natural-language rules now decide which replies the agent sends on its own and which it saves as drafts. Auto-sent threads resolve automatically and can be filtered for audit.
The 20 May 2026 release added UK and EUR merchant accounts and SEPA direct debit mandates to Tesorio Pay, plus a 60-day age gate on automatic supplier portal submissions.
Release notes introduced AI Chat for natural-language questions on AR data and MCP server integration for tools like Claude, both in beta through the customer success manager. Voice Intelligence for Zoom calls shipped in the same release.
In a 20 March 2026 note, the CEO wrote that the company is cash flow positive and plans to build an agentic order-to-cash analyst in 2026.
Tesorio does not publish prices. Vendr's marketplace page reports a median of $17,644 a year across 60 purchases and charts a range it labels Low $7,500 to High $43,591, without saying whether those are percentiles (reported, checked 11 October 2026). The same page carries editorial ranges of $30,000 to $150,000 a year, so a mid-market team buying collections, cash application and the portal should expect a quote above the median (Audit Friendly estimate).
The quote depends on AR volume and which modules are on the Order Form. Payment processing through Tesorio Pay is a separate negotiated rate, and Vendr reports implementation fees of $10,000 to $50,000 or more.
The public agreement (v2.3, 24 May 2023) runs for one year and renews automatically for one-year periods unless written notice is given at least 30 days before expiry. Fees are noncancelable and nonrefundable. Liability is capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months.
Customer Data can be exported during the subscription term, and the trust center says customer data is deleted within one month after contract termination (checked 11 October 2026). There is no public REST API, so confirm the export formats and run the export before the term ends. The ERP stays the system of record for invoices and payments; notes, emails, promise-to-pay history and campaign settings live in Tesorio.
The vendor onboarding doc says most customers finish in 2 to 4 weeks. Tesorio's onboarding specialist and customer success manager lead it; the customer supplies an ERP administrator and an AR lead. On NetSuite the work is a bundle install, an integration role and an access token. Open invoices load first, then 24 months of history.
Three things extend it: flat-file ERPs, which need automated CSV exports and SFTP; bank connectivity for cash application, where a bank can take a few weeks to set up SFTP; and sandbox, single sign-on or IP whitelisting requests. Tesorio cites a G2 figure of 1.31 months to go live against a category average of 5.35 (vendor-relayed, Summer 2026).
Partly. Tesorio hosts an MCP server at mcp.tesorio.com with OAuth sign-in and mcp:read and mcp:write scopes, and publishes setup steps for Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT. An assistant can read customers, invoices, payments, aging and campaign results within the user's permissions, add notes, and run custom actions that an admin has built in Workflows.
The limits: the full tool list is not public, no documented tool posts cash or edits campaigns, and the server was introduced as beta on 14 April 2026 with no general availability notice since. There is no public REST API. Confirm availability for the account and ask for the current tool list.
