JAGGAER is an enterprise source-to-pay suite for universities, public bodies and manufacturers, covering sourcing, contracts, supplier management, eProcurement, invoicing and payments. Vista Equity Partners owns it, and its January 2026 UK public sector list starts eProcurement at £154,332 a year.

JAGGAER's certifications page (checked 27 September 2026) lists ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, 22301, 9001 and 42001, SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports available under NDA, a PCI DSS AOC for eProcurement and Cyber Essentials Plus. Its G-Cloud listing describes 2 and 3-way invoice matching and real-time user audit data, and release 25.3 wires Trustpair bank checks into supplier onboarding with auto-approve or auto-hold. E-invoicing runs through partners such as Sovos TrustWeaver and Peppol retrieval; AF found no FedRAMP listing and no public 1099 filing documentation.
JAGGAER's homepage cites 1,400+ customers, a 13M+ supplier community and $2.9T of annual spend managed, and the JAI page cites 40M+ transactions a year (vendor figures, checked 27 September 2026). Its July 2026 ESG release reports 1,200+ staff in 17 countries, and the UK list prices eProcurement by spend band up to £5B, with larger scopes on request. What strains first is administration and support hours, which are sized by package.
JAGGAER says it integrates with 40+ ERPs and is SAP certified for S/4HANA and ECC, and its payments page lists Ellucian, Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Sage, NetSuite, Infor and JD Edwards. Release 26.1 (first half of 2026) added accelerators and two-way supplier sync with Ellucian Banner and Colleague. JAGGAER Link ERP integration is a paid module (£14,900 to £23,220 a year on the UK list), and depth for NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Business Central is not documented publicly.
JAGGAER Pay supports ACH, premium ACH, virtual card, check and wire, pays one-time recipients without supplier setup, automates W-9 and W-8 collection and routes spend to rebate-earning rails (payments page, checked 27 September 2026). Since 21 July 2026 Conferma supplies PO virtual cards from existing card programs, the first such offer outside North America, and Finexio says its embedded payments power JAGGAER Pay. Fees, FX markups and rebate splits are not published, and cross-border runs through partners such as TransferMate.
JAGGAER's support terms offer Base, Standard, Premium and Premium+ packages with 24x7 Severity 1 coverage on global support (the G-Cloud listing says local public sector support runs business hours only, Monday to Friday) and a 1-hour (Base, Standard) or 30-minute (Premium tiers) initial response. Monthly hours are capped (2 on Base, 45 on Premium+), include supplier support, and a fair-use clause forces an upgrade on sustained overuse. Review evidence is mixed: Capterra shows 4.1 of 5 across 21 reviews with 4.3 for customer service, while TrustRadius shows 6.2 of 10 across 35 reviews (checked 27 September 2026).
JAGGAER publishes a module-by-module UK public sector list on G-Cloud 15 (price document dated 29 January 2026): eProcurement £154,332 to £366,120 a year by spend band, Invoicing £85,104 to £206,928, and core user-based S2C modules from £11,556. The same listing shows call-off discounts of 15 to 50 percent. Outside the UK it is quote only: Vendr has no public JAGGAER page and E&I's higher-ed contract hides pricing behind member login, and JAGGAER Pay fees are unpublished.
JAGGAER Professional Services runs a phased method (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Validate, Enable, optional Extended Care), and certified partners also deliver. The University of Central Missouri went live on eProcurement with Banner in 16 weeks and won JAGGAER's fastest-implementation award; Waterloo announced its project in January 2024 with a fall 2024 eProcurement target. Services are contracted separately at £1,125 to £1,800 a day on the UK rate card, and JAGGAER provides a test environment for each release.
JAGGAER first offered JAI Assist in June 2025 and launched the current JAI on 5 May 2026, with chat grounded on customer policies and a Deep Research mode over live S2P data; JAGGAER says it uses Gemini and Claude, and outcome figures are vendor-claimed. Everest Group reports that JAGGAER announced Agent OS, a no-code agent builder, at REV 2026, with no GA date found. AF found no JAGGAER data MCP in the official registry or Claude's directory; the ReadMe portal's MCP endpoint returned an authorization error, and the portal opens only on request.

You are buying JAGGAER One: source-to-contract (spend analytics, category management, sourcing, contracts, supplier management) and procure-to-pay (eProcurement, invoicing, payments), plus the JAI assistant. JAGGAER says it serves 1,400+ customers, a 13M+ supplier community and $2.9T of annual spend. Its home ground is higher education (catalogs, lab supplies, Banner and Workday links), public sector (bid thresholds, sole-source controls, audit trails) and manufacturing direct materials (BOM, supplier quality, and now Ivoflow's should-cost checks).
The catch is effort and openness. Gartner has placed JAGGAER in the Visionary quadrant for source-to-pay in 2024, 2025 and 2026 (per JAGGAER). There is no documented data MCP server, and the developer portal with its 400+ endpoints opens only on request. Implementation is a services project billed by the day, support hours are capped by package, and JAGGAER Pay uses partners such as Conferma for virtual cards, Finexio says its payments power JAGGAER Pay, and fees are unpublished. The SaaS availability commitment is 99.5 percent.
Before signing, get in writing: every module and the spend band or user count behind each price, the discount off list, the 2-year term and a renewal cap, the support package with its monthly hours and whether supplier calls count against them, the JAGGAER Link integration fee, the JAGGAER Pay processor, fee schedule and rebate split, developer portal access during evaluation, and the fee and format for data extraction at exit.
- Universities and research institutions on Ellucian Banner, Colleague or Workday that need catalogs, lab-supply buying and supplier onboarding for many occasional requesters.
- Public bodies, UK buyers on G-Cloud in particular, that need bid thresholds, sole-source controls and a full audit trail, with list prices visible before a tender.
- Manufacturers sourcing direct materials that want BOM, supplier quality and price-increase checks (Ivoflow) in the same suite as procure-to-pay.
- Mid-market teams on NetSuite, Sage Intacct or QuickBooks that want a quick AP tool: JAGGAER's UK public sector list (January 2026) puts eProcurement at £154,332 a year, and Invoicing is sold only with it.
- Teams that want Claude or another agent acting in the system today: there is no documented data MCP, and API docs require requested access.

Guided campus buying with catalogs and punch-outs
JAGGAER eProcurement gives requesters hosted catalogs, punch-outs, request forms and approval workflows, and lists Banner, Workday and PeopleSoft integration for higher ed. Central Missouri went live with Banner in 16 weeks and says 85 percent of POs were processed the same day or within one day in its first quarter (per JAGGAER). That project won JAGGAER's fastest-implementation award, so treat 16 weeks as a floor.
Match invoices to POs and receipts
JAGGAER Invoicing automates 2 and 3-way matching and manages by exception, per its G-Cloud listing. AppZen Autonomous AP, a partner add-on, reads invoices, codes non-PO invoices to the GL and matches PO lines through JAGGAER's REST API. On the UK list, Invoicing is sold only together with eProcurement.
Pay suppliers and one-time payees from approved invoices
JAGGAER Pay picks a rail by supplier profile, amount and business rules, then posts payments back to the ERP. One-time payees fill in an emailed smart form, and W-9 and W-8 collection is automated. Finexio says its embedded payments power JAGGAER Pay (reported), and fees are not published.
Run sourcing events and auctions for direct materials
Sourcing+, an Advanced Sourcing Optimizer and auctions sit on the source-to-contract side, with BOM and supplier quality tools for manufacturers. Release 26.1 lets buyers start a direct RFQ from a requisition and move it into an auction without re-entry. Ivoflow, bought in September 2026, adds should-cost checks on supplier price-increase requests.
Answer policy and spend questions inside the platform
JAI answers from the customer's own policies and documents and cites its source, and its Deep Research mode analyzes live spend, supplier and invoice data. JAGGAER says early users expect a 50 percent drop in support tickets in year one (vendor-claimed). It follows existing JAGGAER permissions and hands off to a live agent when it cannot answer.

What it actually takes to go live
JAGGAER's support terms (checked 27 September 2026) cap monthly hours by package: 2 on Base, 15 on Standard, 30 on Premium and 45 on Premium+. The hours include supplier support, which adds up fast with thousands of suppliers. A fair-use clause moves you to the next package and price if you exceed the cap by more than 10 percent for more than 2 months in a quarter. Size the package before signing.
JAGGAER's developer portal redirects to a login, and its landing text says access is granted on request (checked 27 September 2026). The portal describes 400+ endpoints and hosts a ReadMe MCP endpoint that returned 'Authorization required' to AF. A 21 September 2026 portal notice says the 'Try Me' button for the token API was switched off after a potential security issue in the embedded identity provider was fixed. Ask for portal access during evaluation.
JAGGAER's G-Cloud 15 price documents (29 January 2026) say Invoicing can only be bought with eProcurement and full P2P needs Contracts+, eProcurement and Invoicing. JAGGAER Link ERP integration adds £14,900 to £23,220 a year, and implementation, migration and configuration are contracted separately. Adoption and advisory services such as Adopt Premium (£11,200) and Advise (£24,700 a year) are extra.
A Finexio video description says Finexio's embedded payments power JAGGAER Pay (Finexio, 26 September 2025); JAGGAER's own pages do not name its US processor. PO virtual cards outside North America come through Conferma (21 July 2026). JAGGAER's partner page also lists TransferMate for cross-border payments, plus Paymode and Billtrust. JAGGAER publishes no payment fees, FX markups or rebate splits. Put the processor, fee schedule and rebate share in the order form.
JAGGAER's SaaS terms commit to 99.5 percent monthly availability, excluding announced maintenance, outside failures and all test and pre-production environments (checked 27 September 2026). The sole remedy is a credit of 5 percent of one-twelfth of the annual fee for affected applications between 99 and 99.5 percent, 10 percent between 98 and 99, and 15 percent below 98. Coupa's trust page cites 99.99 percent uptime as a performance figure, so compare contract terms side by side.
JAGGAER's G-Cloud listing says authorized users can access the applications for 30 days after termination solely to extract client data. JAGGAER will run the extraction in XML at its standard hourly rates under a statement of work, and may delete data after the window. Plan the export before the notice date and fix the fee in the contract.
Scored on what an outside agent can actually reach: the documented API, how it authenticates, and whether the vendor ships an MCP server.
Inside the product, JAGGAER first offered JAI Assist on 24 June 2025 and launched the current JAI on 5 May 2026. JAGGAER says it answers from the customer's own policies and documents with citations, supports 28 languages, can be set up the same day, and runs a Deep Research mode that analyzes live spend, supplier, workflow and invoice data. Its FAQ says JAI uses Gemini and Claude and mirrors existing JAGGAER permissions. JAGGAER claims a 75 percent ticket reduction in early access and an expected 50 percent in year one; those are vendor claims. Invoice capture, GL coding and PO line matching come from AppZen Autonomous AP, a partner add-on. Everest Group reports that JAGGAER announced Agent OS, a no-code agent and workflow builder with an agent command center, at REV 2026 in May; AF found no JAGGAER product page or GA date for it.
Exists: no documented first-party data MCP. The official MCP registry returns no JAGGAER server, Claude's connector directory has none, JAGGAER's GitHub organization has no public repositories, and Composio, Pipedream and Zapier have no JAGGAER app pages (all checked 27 September 2026). The ReadMe-hosted developer portal exposes an MCP endpoint at developer.jaggaer.com/mcp, which answered an unauthenticated initialize call with 'Authorization required'. A 22 July 2026 JAGGAER blog says live connections between Claude and JAGGAER are now possible, but names no server or setup steps.
Scope: the portal MCP is ReadMe's generic documentation server, not a JAGGAER data server. ReadMe documents it as giving AI tools the API specs and docs (list and inspect endpoints, search specs), plus an execute-request tool that makes live API calls with the caller's own credentials; the endpoint also requires a ReadMe access token. The portal's landing text says it tests API calls against a customer's PREP/UIT instance, which suggests test environments. The REST APIs themselves are broad: the portal describes 70+ business objects and 400+ endpoints, and its spec files cover invoices, payments, orders, purchase requests, approvals, suppliers, contracts, audit logs and SCIM, including push APIs that write into JAGGAER.
Turnkey: no. An agent connection today means requesting portal access, getting a JWT token and building or buying a custom MCP. A 21 September 2026 portal notice says JAGGAER disabled the 'Try Me' button for its token API after fixing a potential security issue in its embedded identity provider. Tonkean, now owned by Coupa, offers a third-party 'Search Jaggaer Agent' template.

Coupa
Intake to PO under one policy. Coupa routes requests through Smart Intake and Orchestration into requisitions and POs with approval chains, suppliers confirm POs in the free supplier portal, and Coupa-built NetSuite bundles ship prebuilt SuiteScripts for POs, invoices and payments.
Where it loses: Only the NetSuite bundles are Coupa-built: SAP, Dynamics 365, Business Central, Sage Intacct and QuickBooks Online run on partner accelerators, and other ERPs rely on the Core API or CSV flat files.

Ivalua
SAP connector, multi-ERP console. Employees buy from catalogs, punchouts and intake forms under approval rules, a plug-and-play connector links SAP ECC and S/4HANA, and Ivalua says its Integration Workplace of APIs, ETL and an integration console carries no extra charge.
Where it loses: Ivalua publishes a packaged connector only for SAP, shows NetSuite and Sage only as past integrations and lists no QuickBooks Online or Xero, so mid-market ERPs mean an integration project.

Coupa
Free portal, tax data on file. Suppliers join through the free Coupa Supplier Portal, supplier information management stores 1099 classification, federal tax ID and FATCA status, and Coupa lists SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports, ISO 27001 and a FedRAMP Moderate federal edition.
Where it loses: No public page on 1099 e-filing was found, and Coupa stopped issuing legal invoices on suppliers' behalf in Croatia and Greece in 2026, so those suppliers attach their own XML e-invoices.

Ivalua
Supplier portal with bank checks. Suppliers register and update bank and compliance data in a free portal, bank ownership is validated before payment, and Dun & Bradstreet, EcoVadis and Bureau van Dijk risk data feeds the same supplier record.
Where it loses: Ivalua's FedRAMP claim is for a 'FedRAMP-compliant' environment absent from GSA's marketplace data, and its 2024 French PDP registration is not on DGFiP's current approved-platform lists.

JAGGAER, kept current
The deal for Ivoflow, a Koblenz-based price intelligence platform for direct materials, closed on 11 September 2026; terms were not disclosed.
JAGGAER Pay can now issue virtual cards on approved POs from existing corporate card programs, JAGGAER's first embedded virtual card offer outside North America.
The seat came through Vista Equity Partners' external board program, and the release still calls Vista an investor in JAGGAER.
JAGGAER launched the current JAI with same-day setup, building on the JAI Assist it first offered in June 2025; at REV 2026 that month it also announced Agent OS, per Everest Group.
Prebuilt accelerators for Ellucian Banner and Colleague sync supplier data both ways, and suppliers can confirm POs and invoice through secure email links.
